Looks a lot like an urban trapper without a flipper or scales.

Thumb studs are good, but I'm really not a fan of em, to each their own!

TroutbumMaybe a thumb disc given the sleekness of the design. I would be in on one then. I don't particularly care for nail nicks.

I wonder what County Com contributed with in order to not credit Brad Zinker. "Dont make any holes in the frame, so it weighs more. Oh, and let's retro this thing up by removing the flipper and lets not polish anything on it, it'll be great." Maybe Brad refused to put his name on it after they butchered it?

Personally, I am so glad to see a non-flipper knife being made. I thought manufacturers forgot how to make knives with no flippers.

No flipper, no deal. Otherwise I'd have picked up a couple.

BlankmanTo each their own. I, for one, am glad flippers haven't completely taken over; personally not a big fan. I like thumb studs or automatics. (Yes, legality, sure. Follow-your-local-knife-laws.) Just don't like the ergonomics of moving my thumb from the back to a grip, it encourages fumbling. I'm not dogmatic about it, but a tab makes it a much harder sell.

j.a.lI just don't like knives that potentially take two hands to open (for whatever reason), hence my desire for a flipper (or thumb stud) if well done. As you said, to each their own. :)

Why do you use the slowest shipping service known to man. Why use fedex which took 6 days to get here just to have them hand it off to usps to deliver it. Use usps flare rate it’s two day shipping for anywhere in the US. I have received packages from China faster than this.

Damn, if this was a front flipper I would be completely sold. Unfortunately...

bought a couple for $60 each on countycomm BF/CM sale….beautiful knife if you're ok with two hand opening. Looks and feels like a much higher-end knife than its pricepoint would suggest. The detent is solid and both handle and blade are light, plus there's not a lot of exposed spine when the blade is closed. I don't see anyone being able to flick it open-- I couldn't. I tried it with a bolt-on thumb stud just to see, and for my hand at least it seems like I would be far too apt to slice my thumb open, most likely due to the narrow blade. I like my one-hand knives, so I ended up buying an urban trapper grand as a result of my little experiment with the CC version. I ended up discovering a knife design I really like and I'll end up gifting the CC knives I bought, so it was a good deal all around for me.
It looks to be utilitarian, but a bering pivot on a nail nick knife? Isn't that like putting a brembo brake kit on a work truck?
ReallySickOfArguingIts says it can be flicked, but there is nothing to get a purchase on. Maybe it means you can shake it out (weak detent?)...

Awful video and dumb dialog.. stopped it after a few seconds. It seems to be an okay design as long as they get the titanium lock right. The price is higher than I would consider for what they claim is a D2 blade.

I like it....but, I don't. Two hand opening, no problem. Two hand opening and a frame lock? Seems odd. Plus, I like D2 when it is properly heat treated by Dozier or Krein or other custom makers, but I don't think that I like it from a hug manufacturer where it is generally not handled as carefully. PLUS....these days a lot of Chinese companies are claiming D2, but it is really 9Cr14MoV.
