A Formidable Flipper in Armored Titanium
Designed by Danish knifemaker Mikkel Willumsen, the Dreed makes tough cuts look easy—and most knives look boring. The knife’s solid titanium frame presents like an armored shell, and acts like one too. Cut with stem-like ridges and stonewashed to a rugged-yet-handsome finish, the frame provides a secure hold. The blade clocks in at a substantial 3.5 inches. Made of 440C stainless steel, it has a tight hollow grind for precision slicing. Radioactive-looking metal screws on the thumbstud, pivot, and frame tie the whole look together, while a right-handed tip-up clip makes carry a breeze. Plus, opening and closing the knife is smooth and satisfying, thanks to the flipper tab and pivot system.
