Got to be honest, Boker rarely produces a knife that appeals to me. Sad really, being such an old company with lots of history but they just cannot come up with anything. Gerber went through this but have started making some great, made in the US, knives. Boker, go back to your roots, start making some more basic, usable blades. Make a series of outdoor fixed blades using a good carbon steel, like 52100 but with a really good heat treat ( this stuff can be crazy good) and with a nicely rounded micarta handle, sharpened spine, drop point, made in Germany.
