This knife would be kinda cool if: 1. If it had the same scale on BOTH sides of the handle. 2. If it was just regular carbon fiber and NOT glow in the dark. 3. If it was offered at a lower price point. 4. If there was a left handed option. I admit that number 4 is just me wishing that knife companies would make more options for all of us lefties out here. The rest is just my opinion on what could be changed to make me want to actually purchase it.

Woah, easy there, guy. No need to get your knickers in a twist. Again, it is my opinion, so you're right about that. Yet, to assume I know nothing about knives, well, I may not know everything, but I know enough that just because it's a frame lock, doesn't mean the handle has the scale only on one side. I've seen plenty of frame lock knives where the handle is the same color/material on both sides. So, not really sure what you're going on about there. Regardless, I explained why I don't like this knife in my previous response, so at the end of the day, I think we can just agree to disagree.

JediJonBenchmade or any axis lock are all ambi and a far superior mechanism to liner or framelock for one handed open/close and not having to have your thumb in blade path while you do it. Axis mechanism is 100% ambi, so as long as the model offers the option to swap the clip to the other side, you're set. Check the Benchmade Griptilian and Mini Griptilian. I've tried everything - EVERYTHING out there and nothing has dethroned the Griptilians I've carried for 15 years.

I bought one of these directly from CountyComm a couple months back and I really enjoy it. That being said, I paid less than $80 for it including tax and shipping... I like the handle material but the glowing is a gimmick, it only lasts for a couple minutes after sustained exposure to bright light. If you like the design but don't care about the handle, CountyComm has alternatives for cheaper right now.

Dang, when I wrote that they had the regular dimpled handle version for ~$100.

LevaixSame. I bought one for a gift when CC had them on sale. I can't comment on the knife since I never used it, but the quality seemed decent. I think it would be nicer with matching scales, and yeah the GID doesn't last long at all. Which is too bad, because CC takes a lot of pride in their GID products. Overall, I think it's probably an OK knife for around $80, but definitely not more than that. Edit: Actually, when I bought one last spring, CC was selling them for 75 plus their usual 10% discount.

I’m pretty sure these were like $80 when sold by CountryComm. Hard pass.

I can't speak for him, but yeah I bought this exact model with GID scale for 75 last spring. Not including CC's usual 10% discount.

Yes, same model.
There's better Chinese made knives at that price point with, better materials. Honestly bokers heat treat on d2 is enough for me to pass.
