The descriptions here are misleading: two models are identified by color alone ("black" and "brown"), while the third is specifically labeled "olive wood" -- it's not, as can by clearly seen from the grain pattern! Even calling it "olive" would be misleading; it could more honestly be termed simply "blonde."
It would be easier to believe that this potential misidentification with the highly-prized olive wood was inadvertent, if Boker hadn't also branded the block itself the "Makassar" - correctly a term for one of the varieties of ebony. In either case, the (intended?) result is to imply greater value for the product than it's earned. This intention is even clearer in their Amazon presentation, which offers the block in Black, Makassar or Olive "colors". While that kind of mislabeling can be expected on a caveat emptor site like Amazon, I expected better of a supposedly "community"-based operation like Massdrop.
