I like the design but am I missing something? Isn’t it a bit overpriced for D2?

rac_sword2For a full-tang 10" blade, I feel like this drop price is pretty solid. D2 is a great steel as long as you oil it now and again since it's not terribly corrosion resistant. I think this is a much better deal than say most of the TOPS knife drops (looks like a better knife too). Now those are overpriced. Just my 2 cents, everyone has a different definition of value.

rac_sword2$85 + free shipping on a 10-inch, full-tang, D2 knife? That seems okay to me. BladeHQ has the Masada at $90. Benchmade's full-size D2 that comes to mind is the Adamas, at $165.
I've seen cheap D2 knives, but the good ones seem to be around this price point or higher.

rac_sword2Their fixed blades are pretty well made, it's probably worth it considering that many of their knives from this line are still in 440C at this price point.
