Designed by South African knifemakers André van Heerden & André Thorburn, the Boker Plus A2 (pronounced “A squared” for the two designers’ names) is easy to carry and easier to admire. It features a satin-finished blade made from VG-10 stainless steel: a high-carbon-content steel manufactured in Japan Read More
I bought this knife off Boker’s website a little while ago. While I really like the design, there are a couple reasons I wish I had spent my money on something else. First, the pocket clip is milled G-10 and broke off the first day I had it. I really wasn’t abusing it at all and it seems to be pretty fragile. Second, the liner lock is very thin and has a lot of stick to it. Not comfortable at all to unlock. If you’re in love with the design, go for it, but I wouldn’t recommend this to a friend.
Mookiatothe liner is titanium and they forgot to harden or carbonize it...that is why it sticky...I hate that part...soft titanium on harder steel...it calling for lock stick....
bookworm13if you use your thumb, it feels like using a dollar store lighter, you know the one with wheels. if you use you index finger or middle finger, it feels more like a normal flipper, just need bigger movement. I love front flipper due to the absent of the flipper tab, it is much more friendly for the pocket.
