The refund and credit is fine with me. A lot of buyers are still complaining but come on, Massdrop did try to rectify the situation which was mostly out of their control. You just can't please some people without giving them the world.
this serial number fuck up was not "out of their control" they should have insisted the outside of the boxes have the serial number on them. it's simple communication. 99% of the issues I have with this drop is based around the poor communication about it... clearly that carries over to their communication with Boker.
You're making a lot of assumptions. From the update it seems that Boker was supposed to put the numbers on the box, but didn't. That's not surprising considering the number of f ups that we know they were responsible for. You have no idea what kind of communication Massdrop had with Boker, and you're basing a percentage on something you have no idea about.
I personally emailed these directions to Boker; they said they would check and then basically never replied even though we followed up - there was a LOT of that going on after we placed the order. Part of the problem is we talk to the US rep and they talk to Germany and they tell Taiwan, then getting any info back takes forever. We will not be ordering any more sprint runs from them for exactly this reason. I take the blame for not chasing down a commitment to do this and apologize that we were not able to deliver on what was promised.
THIS is the response that all of us buyers were looking for. Now I'm 100% satisfied.

I spoke to a Boker representative here in Sweden and the serial numbers is marked on the outside box of every 20 knifes........
