I'd buy this in a heartbeat if it had thumbstud or thumbhole. It's a sleek looking knife, but two handed opening is a deal breaker.
SpyderSame, I know they're keeping the design true to the original, but there's a good reason every knife nowadays has a one handed open. I can't justify a two-handed open, even though this knife is truly beautiful.

MassdropTakeMyMoneyFrom what I understand, it has to do with German knife laws - you can have a locking knife or a 1-handed opening knife, but not both for some reason. If they want to market this one domestically, they have to give one up.

salehonasiafter having the knife a while, it is definitely a great looking and feeling knife...
that being said, not being 1 hand openable (at least not easily) is a serious deal breaker... also, the tip down carry being the only option is also a slight annoyance (though not as important since i can't 1 hand open it)
the knife is a bit uncomfortable in the pocket because it's a bit wide when closed, and the back of the blade has slightly sharp edges and rubs against my hand when i put my hand in my pocket...
i REALLY want to like this knife, but i just can't do it, probably gonna sell it on the ebay =(
