After a little use, the bolt action becomes smoother. With the bolt in the middle of the pen, it does shorten the length of the ink cartridge but that is not a concern to me since I use it daily only to jot quick notes.

The pen looks great and writes well. For me, the design of the pen doesn't lend itself to extended periods of writing due to the sharp transition of the barrel to the tip. By nature, I want to hold the pen right where it transitions and since it's basically a 90 degree angle it quickly becomes uncomfortable.

A Machine for My Shirt Pocket!
I love the look of this pen. It's unlike anything most people carry, and I've already gotten compliments on it. It's definitely a MAN'S pen! I carry a Montblanc when I'm wearing a suit, but for all other occasions, I carry the Boker!

Solid unique design but included cartridge does not last long.
Very Nice Integrated Clip design. The ballpoint ink cartridge that comes with the pen is really cheap writes pretty rough and only lasts for a day. Hopefully the refills i ordered off AmXzon will solve this. I used the tiniest bit of graphite Bearing/Lock Dry Lubricant on the bolt mechanism and it works great. (Not really necessary, I just wanted the bolt mechanism to feel smoother.) I wish that DROP included 2 higher quality cartridges and raised the price 5 bucks or so.
Overall Good Pen. Bad included cartridge.

Although, I like the pen, the ink cartridges are hard to find, expensive, and don't work well in fine. I have only tried fine because they are so annoying to get a hold of. The pen works wonderfully and holds up great. If another company makes refills for it I would love to know but thus far it is a serious oversight.

HudsoThe Lamy ink refills are the only ones I have found that work. I am going to try the medium size hopefully that works better. But they are still way too expensive. In blue the lowest price is $4.50 plus shipping. And in black it is $9. For the little bit of ink they give you it is not really worth it.

Surface finish is prone to scratches; rollerball ink cartridge is poor quality and does not allow much ink through. It’s a nice size pen to write with, but it won’t reliably write on journal paper, card stock, looseleaf, or printer paper. So its kind of a waste for me.
