Hey group,
We heard back from the vendor once more this week and they've told us that an initial batch of knives is set to ship to our warehouse the week of 12/19 with the rest slated for shipment by the week of 12/26. Of course, once we receive tracking information and updated arrival dates we will be sure to pass them along the group.
Once again, we understand that the additional wait time is undesirable. If you would prefer to cancel your order, please contact Community Support using the “Contact Support” button in your transactions page (http://massdrop.com/transactions).

TylerI just want to leave some positive feedback. I know the the fulfillment of these custom orders is really up to the vendor and you guys get a lot of unwarranted flak from a bunch of entitled brats that have their heads way to far up their asses to understand. So far i have been completely satisfied with your joint ventures with other companies. I have enjoyed my KXX red edition, Mahogany THxx, and hifiman re-00 and 350 thoroughly (was hoping for the senheisser 6xx but missed that lol). I plan to continue to support Massdrop.

TylerWhat can we expect as far as processing and shipment times? I'm assuming we're looking at ~2-3 days to get the orders packaged and labelled...I'm more interested in the actual ship times (and services used)
A few updates back you mentioned that massdrop was going to try to make up for the delays any way they could, so I was wondering if that meant you were considering expedited shipping options. I'm sure I'm not the first (or thousandth) person to say this, but DHL shipping is the slowest method of transit ever conceived...I have been hoping and hoping that you would end up using USPS/UPS/FedEx after your comment. I do understand that price is a factor with drops, but we're talking about 2-3 days vs 2-3 weeks sometimes. It honestly amazes me how bad DHL can be. It's almost comical! I don't know how often massdrop uses which service, but here's hoping it isn't DHL!
Aside from this concern, thanks for keeping us updated. A delay of a week or two for manufacturing is nothing to worry about; we expected that going into this (or those who didn't probably shoukd have). That's beyond your control; however, packing and shipping is something that you do have control over, so I'm hoping that portion won't take all too long. Thanks!

DHL is sooooooooo bad. Next level bad. Really really really bad. Got my packages more than 3 weeks late... bad. Yes, that bad. D-eplorable H-orrible L-aughable, except they make me want to cry... bad.

Massdrop support has been good and is always appreciated. Shipping of late has been terrible and I do hope you listen to your community (like you always do) and seek out alternatives.
