This looks like the same dial as the titanium quartz field watch that came out and Dropped for 99 I think? So 140 bucks for a screw down crown and a $30 automatic movement instead of a $20 quartz....not for me, unless the lume is better, it's nice on the quartz for like 60 seconds then fades to black very rapidly. Something tells me the same will be true of this one, but if someone knows better I hope they will say so, if this has good, lasting lume, I would be interested for sure
What is the weight in grams? Also, I noticed that an image search for BOLDR Venture returns a very different looking case design - is this a revamped or second generation model? What's the story there?
mgeoffriauWeight in grams is 64g w/ a Blushark NATO strap. I have the one with white dial. The arabics are NOT lumed (if you care about things like this). The other three dials with white arabics are lumed, and the lume lasts.
If Boldr is listening, is the lume better than the quartz ti field you guys put out, or is it on the same level? Fades way too fast to be useful on my copy
Anyone have side pics ? I'm worried that it may be too thick. I have a 40mm watch with that movement, it has the same height but it bobbles around too much.
Amazing beater watch!
This is a very solid watch at a very affordable price point. I have a 44mm Dive Watch before and I was a bit skeptical because this was at 38mm. But it definitely feels land looks larger on the wrist despite its sleek design.
Buy direct from Boldr before end of month at pre-order price of $249, but use discount code VENTURE10 and get 10% reduction ($224.10). After month end this is a good price!
