Did not make as good a cup of coffee as I expected from the hype. In all fairness I'm still experimenting with it, but my first impression was not great. I didn't have any of the leaking issues mentioned elsewhere and it seems to be fairly well built in general and the price is reasonable. I'm puzzled as to how the pre-infusion feature works as there is no way to stop the flow to allow blooming? All I could see was a flashing light and saturation taking place as usual???

AudioproAsk and you shall receive....Press and hold the on/off switch for 5 seconds. It will flash indicating you have chosen the pre-infusion mode. Follow the BREWING INSTRUCTIONS, making sure you press the on/off switch to begin brewing. In pre-infuse mode, the on/off switch will flash during the brew cycle. The brewer will remain in pre- infusion mode until the mode is turned off or the brewer is turned off or the brewer is unplugged. You can turn off the pre-infusion mode by pressing the on/off switch until the light flashes (5 sec.).

rob-okraySo just tried it and my good coffee tastes good. Wish I had a taste o meter to tell me if it was better than with the pre infusion turned off, or with my old cheap coffee maker. All that said, the price on this was not even into the triple digits, so I'm not sure how high a bar needs to be set. rob-okrayThis is getting complicated now. I guess to really get a decent idea of what is what I need to get some fresh beans, grind them as I go, and check the bloom pattern after brewing. No way to see what is going on in there when the machine is running.
