With the press of just one button, this Bonavita brewer makes eight cups of coffee at a time, while the included stainless steel–lined thermal carafe keeps the coffee warmer than ever. The brewer’s design is based on the premise that reaching an optimal temperature between 195 and 205 degrees Fahrenheit is key to making great coffee. To that end, Bonavita included a 1,500-watt heater to maintain this optimal temperature throughout the brewing process. Pre-infusion mode saturates grounds first to allow degassing. Plus, the flat-bottomed filter basket and larger showerhead allow for better saturation and uniform extraction. The carafe has been updated with a more user-friendly spout for precision pouring.
