Can anyone who's purchased this comment on how large the top opening is with the cover removed? Can a hand easily fit inside to scrub the bottom? So many kettles have an opening that is just a bit too narrow to accommodate a hand, making it difficult to scrub off mineral deposits.

ChaoticKinesisThe opening is 3 inches, so unless you have rather large hands it's pretty easy to clean. I've been using mine daily since December with filtered water and haven't had any buildup to worry about.
