Ultralight Protection
A lightweight bivy sack with a full-mesh face panel and a unique zipper, the Borah Gear M90 Side-Zip Bivy is an ultralight essential weighing only 7 ounces. When packed in the included silnylon stuff sack, the bivy is barely larger than a water bottle. It’s a choice piece of gear for those who want protection from the elements at minimal weight.
Note: This drop is limited to 30 bivy sacks. At checkout, you will have the option to upgrade to a Long + Wide size bivy (+ 0.3 ounces). Please note that the top fabric will be brown, and not the gray depicted in the photos below.
Design and Function
A 30D silnylon floor provides comfort and durability, and is paired smartly with highly water-resistant and breathable 20D Momentum 90 fabric for the upper. The seams are double-stitched for additional durability. This particular model features a side-zip that goes across the chest and turns down the left side for another 24 inches, making the bivy much easier to get in and out of. The 0.7-ounce no-see-em mesh protects against bugs. Add a light tarp, and you’ve got a versatile shelter system.
