I'm wondering some of the same things myself. Doc from Bottlehead was posting away, promoting the drop, right up until it closed--and then complete silence. Bottlehead was the one that stated it would take UP TO three weeks to ship out all the kits depending on the size of the order--which was continually updated during the drop. Tomorrow , we'll be heading into week 5.
I could have sworn there was a post from someone stating that the last of the kits would be arriving at MD today, but I can't find it anymore. A delay isn't wonderful, but leaving so many customers hanging is worse--especially when it takes so little effort to post an update.

Barry@AB01 See my earlier post about the unpredictability of supply chain management.
Bottlehead can't help the fact that their wood supplier can't fill the order they sent in an immediate manner. I have little doubt that the rest of the kits are fully assembled, just missing the base. Putting together DIY kits like this is like conducting an orchestra, and unfortunately some players randomly go on strike. When they do, it holds up the entire concert.
In any event, Bottlehead isn't really the proper recipient of any discontent. It's their upstream vendors, specifically the wood supplier, who deserve it. Hopefully this clears things up.
The good news is that there's only one piece holding the kits up. And wood isn't as hard to source as, say, 60 custom transformers. Once that wood arrives, from @andy's last update it sounds like the remainder of the kits will go out in very short order.

JDWarnerYeah, I read your comment around the time you posted it -- all due respect, I think it's you that needs to go back and re-read my post, as I said "pre-stock". I'm not talking about "in an immediate manner", how quickly or slowly DocB et al got off the couch to place orders AFTER the $ transfer from MD cleared into BH's account, and supplier problems in turn happening after that. Rather, I'm talking about how a big early MD-specific stocking order (either contractually-obligated or anticipatory/measured) by BH that could have easily satisfied a bigger chunk of the demand sooner was obviously NOT placed well before close. I wouldn't be making this comment if 15 orders shipped a week after the drop close (or 25 orders two weeks after close), as that would have been evidence of BH fronting & setting aside at least the inventory they agree to for their negotiated MD MOQ (15) or the demand from the 1st day of the drop (25). But that didn't happen.
Again, I did't say that as a serious complaint -- was just pointing out a potential improvement opportunity for the next MD-BH offering, which I'll probably also be joining. If BH simply lacks the resources to pre-stock their inventory, then significantly more-detailed and moderated expectations/guidelines should be set on the description page like they are for the Omega headphone stands. Tell everyone your secret 3-week turnaround timeframe will actually take 5 weeks from close, and people won't be disappointed when a 'Bottlehead-bottleneck' issue comes up...
