I would like to get the community's take on whether my frustration with MD is well-founded:
I was too late to join this drop so wanted to buy the crack kit from a fellow buyer in Canada. We sent a request to MD to see if MD could directly ship the kit to me. Was told more than a day later that this was an unreasonable request. However, out of good spirit, the CSP (Mark) would still do it, albeit at a much lower priority ("in a day or two when I have 20 to 30 minutes"). Mark would first "cancel your shipment to make sure we don't send anything to your old Canadian address". We both thanked him. But 3 days later, the buyer from Canada got a shipping notice. I sent a request to MD for clarification but MD has been radio silent for the past 36 hours.
While I understood that it might be out of MD's service agreement to switch buyers, I'd expect
1) a quick yah or nay clarification on whether this is possible
2) once promised that this could/would be done, carry it out or at least follow up if anything has changed
I was also a bit annoyed by the tone in Mark's email (below), but that might be just the bitchy side of me...
"We're a group-buy service designed to handle orders on mass, not work out "one off deals" and adjustments and re-selling of products that have already been bought (etc etc etc). To be completely frank, your requests are way beyond the scope of what we do here."
Yeah thats probably just the bitchy side of you because "switching buyers" is not what they do.
Mark made it pretty clear in the email lols
Fair, if only Mark hadn't promised to take care of it:
"That being said, in a day or two when I have 20 to 30 minutes, I'll try to get this stuff sorted out for you. First step is to cancel your shipment to make sure we don't send anything to your old Canadian address, and then we'll take it from there. Please be patient and I'll email you in a few days."
