I have a few questions. I received my amp today and everything looks okay but the large rca tube looks used or like it has been scuffed up a lot. Also the metal top thing (idk what it is called) is scratched up a bit also. I was just wondering if this is the norm. Thanks for your input. Here are the pictures.

I haven't built it yet, but my guess is that it won't affect anything. My concerns are more about my ocd over the aesthetics.

Your tubes should look scuffed up and old! That's one sign that they're vintage tubes and not something that was recently made :) Vacuum tubes made 30+ years ago sound much much better than newer stuff.
As far as scuffs on the transformer bell, all my bottlehead kits have had a few marks, but I usually paint that piece with primer and spray paint anyways.

Okay that is what I figured. I just wanted to make sure. Thanks for your reply.
