I received my M100's a few days without extra cost (Quebec, Canada) and was surprised to say the least.
At first I thought: "They sound muffled, is this normal?" but I knew they had an "unusual" sound signature and this is true. Those are dark, extremely dark. Bass is increased, mids are increased and highs are, well, not present at all. Still, after two to three songs I could not get them off of me. When I put my BeyerDynamics DT990 back on my head (which have a "V shaped" sound signature) I thought to myself: "They lack bass and have too much treble".
So I thought I wouldn't use them and would just give them away to someone since I already have so much equipment. But no, I was wrong, I still put them on every day. They signature is so pleasing, it doesn't hurt, it massages your ears with an extremely warm sound. This is a surprising experience for me since it is my first "dark" IEM. I am comparing them to my Audio Technica ATH-M40X, BeyerDynamic DT990 and Shure SE-215.
The M100 is what the Beats should have sounded like when they came out. It is a dark pair of IEM that only exists for fun listening and nothing else. If you have received them and think they are the best, you found the sound signature you need.
Definitely a good buy.
