I got two pairs of the m100s. Wow are they terrible. The build quality is fine, but they sound like trash. Everything sounds muddy and deep. I have a pair of Brainwavz Deltas and they are unremarkable, but totally fine. I thought buying one of their higher end models could only give me better sound, but I was 100% wrong. I'm unhappy that I paid $25 for these things, so the idea that they sell for $90 seems absurd. I'll be sticking with my Deltas and trying to give these m100s away to someone who doesn't care about audio quality.

cfenAfter digging around online I found some equalizer settings that help. They still don't sound great, but they're much better than they were out of the box. This is from a user review on head-fi.org.

"The main thing to bring the best of out the M100 is definitively Equalization. You will have to bring down the mid bass region and up the Highs, which should look something like this: -1 dB at 60Hz -4 dB at 200Hz -2 dB at 600Hz 0 dB at 1kHz +3 dB at 4kHz +5 dB at 8kHz +6 dB at 12kHz"
