I bought it to use as a phono tube filtered volume control because its class A and I thought it would be fun to tube roll some 12au7 tubes.l am using a passive 4 input preamp fed through a bellari sonic exciter then into the bravo and outputed to my old solid state adcom. I have multiple headphone amps and I thought it would be less likely to be used with my headphones.Out of curiosity and boredom I decided to listen with my sennheiser 650s from my iFi zen streaming Tidal into my chain of small components and 2 or 3 hrs later I was a pleasantly surprised believer. My intention recently has been to assemble a good sounding bedroom system to help get me through the pandemic debacle and not spend money on high end components to accomplish good sound. With the help of the bravo in my chain I have been able to get the type of sound I want without spending hundreds or more to get tube preamp sound. Also the headphone amp is a good match for the sennheisers.I am very happy with my little 50 buck purchase.

I'm enjoying the bellari and it was a personal struggle for me to decide to purchase it after years of audio snob programming. I'm not ancient but I am a music lover and ex-musician from the time I was in grammar school in the early 1960s.I had to reach back and remember how much we enjoyed our music then and how exciting it was for us as young people to go to a friend's house and take our newest acquisition to share with a friend and to discover how different it sounded on their HiFi and the pleasure of their experience hearing a new artist or recording of a shared favorite artist. Well luckily that carried over for much of my life but unfortunately as life does with many people it was put aside for making a living, raising a family and what was so easy in youth became less spontaneous and unstructured. Anyway I ramble on and I guess you asked a simple question and I would say that I enjoy it and it works as advertised but for me better much better than I had hoped for. I use it in a bedroom and I live with people and I am forced to listen at a lower volume over my speakers than I normally would if in my own house. I'm able to dial in the perfect level and have a very good spectrum of all the frequency range without over emphasized mids, highs, bass that you would normally have with a equalizer type or even usual tone controls. Yes I could get there eventually with the tone controls but not as easily or quickly with the bellari. It's a dream with your headphones and as with speakers from different manufacturers its easy to get your personal preference without losing soundstage and all the little nuances that make listening interesting and enjoyable. Yes I recommend it.
