kkjjn0000Some would say neither and to instead save up for the next DIY tube kit drop: http://www.head-fi.org/t/585714/differences-between-the-little-dot-amplifiers#post_7979881
I was really tempted on this when it popped up because of the high ratings and the fact that I used to love hoarding high-bang-for-buck entry-level stuff, but trying to change my ways lately by lightening the load & eliminating all of the in-between upgrade steps. It would be one thing if this unit had extensive specs / actual measurements along with detailed reviews/breakdowns of the internals, but it seems the only thing available out there to accompany some good star ratings are reports of bad QA and a short list of mislabeled specs typical of a generic manufacturer. Pass.

AB01There is an abundance of information on Bravo amps out there. There are even a few sites with detailed modification tutorials for them.
I have an OEM Bravo V3, and it is a great amp. It can't power my HE-500 from the last drop, but with everything else, it works great, and has for several months now.

bhazard451Great to hear -- got any links specific to this amp that you're willing to share?

AB01It's scattered across this forum, but there are a lot of diagrams and tutorials showing what capacitors can be replaced, traces cut, etc... to improve on them. The V1, V2, V3, and Ocean are all somewhat similar.
