Will this be good with the k712 pro?
No. From the specs, the THD is 0.45% for 33 ohms. K712's impedance is 62ohms and the THD of the amp will around 0.45% which is higher than the THD of the headphones. So, the amp colours the sound. It is step backward while everyone wants pure, high-fidelity.
May be suitable for high impedance headphones but the build quality seems to be poor.
It is very difficult to find a reason to prefer a tube amp over a SS amp since it doesn't do anything better than SS amps.
The only place where tube amps makes sense is in pre-amplifiers when it comes to audio.
Thanks for the detailed answer! Can you recommend me a good warm-sounding amp under 150$? (for k712's)
Most modern SS amps have a flat frequency response which is neither warm or cold. You could buy anything from FiiO/Topping or other brands. If you have an iPhone or LG V20 you don't even need an amp since they are already very good.
Don't hesitate to use an equalizer if you want it to sound warm, it is easy solution than buying an amp.
I'm using it on my pc and it's onboard audio is pretty bad. Motherboard manufacturers don't really care about putting good audio :/
Look at Topping NX4. It is in your price range. It was also a drop here some time ago. You could also buy from Amazon or AliExpress.
