lyrillThe E88CC works with the Bravo V3, which is the model just under this one. It would be unlikely that it doesn't work with this one. You might want to contact Bravo Audio directly.

lyrillI've never listened to a Magni, but probably not. You're just buying this one for the quirkiness of having a tube. The Magni is probably more 'accurate' if you're into that. The Ocean is built OK and mine works great.

The gain (at least mine) is super high. I've got it at the 2 of 10 mark for volume level and my computer applications are running at 20% volume and I'm powering 250 ohm headphones. I'm using a vintage RCA clear top 12AU7 tube in mine and I'd describe the sound as 'snappy' in the highs and normal everywhere else, but I'm half deaf and I don't have a lot to go on other than experience with my iphone itself and solid state home stereos.

lyrillIt doesn't beat the Magni but it is definetly better for low impedance headphones that require alot of power.
