I purchased this press as a gift for a very good friend of mine; Ginger. She already has a couple of French presses, but this one is now very special to her, partly because it was a gift, but mostly because of how beautiful it is.
I have a French press that she gave me, but my better half and I drink a LOT of coffee, and the 'press' method is just too slow and tedious for our busy schedule. I only use it on special occasions or when I'm not in a hurry to get a caffeine fix.
I wish I'd bought two; one for Ginger and one for myself. This is the nicest French press I've ever seen and Ginger's is always on display, on her kitchen counter. If it ever comes up again on Massdrop, I'll order at least one more. They really are very nice.
