I am curious about the operating voltage of the machine.

psw212A single standard wall outlet is more than enough to power mine, its a great machine

trevor266he is referring to input voltage, not input power draw (which is rated 1600W). the machine is exclusively 110V/60Hz and will NOT work on 220V/50Hz outlets. Also, I really don't recommend using a step-down transformer for this type of appliance. It does convert from 110V to 220V and provides enough current to power the machine. but --- the heating element is designed for 60Hz operation. a transformer does not alter frequency, resulting in increased heat, lower output power and higher risk of malfunction.

LQDForceThank you for your kind answer. I am here in Rep. of Korea. I can use that machine without down transformer, so I give up this chance.

psw212hey buddy, if you live in South Korea then your household electricity operates at a frequency of 60Hz, but the voltage is 220V. The machine sold here is 110V/60Hz. But, this actually makes it safe to use the machine with a step-down transformer. Funny enough, most of these units are made in South Korea! What you need: 3KVA 60Hz Step-Down transformer you should give these guys a call: http://www.hanilsys.co.kr/ You can probably get it for less that $100. Of course, it's best to buy a machine that is designed for your native electricity output. But if none of these machines are sold in South Korea, then this is your best hope :)
