why I had to pay for UK custom to release the package while another drop has been sent to me without any custom charges?

graziaEvery country's local custom's offices treat packages differently. In the case of the Royal Mail, I believe they randomly pull some packages (most) out and assess the taxes due on them, and some just slip-through without being charged.
