The British Belt Co. has been producing leather goods since 1946, using centuries-old leather-working techniques to bring out the most in each piece. Like the Farley, a remarkably detailed belt ideal for formal events. It’s made with bridle leather from Joseph Clayton & Sons, a tannery heavily entwined in Britain’s illustrious industrial history. Established in 1840, Joseph Clayton & Sons still operates in its original Chesterfield location, using the same traditional methods and machinery. The leather is coated in natural oils and waxes for protection, and acquires a unique patina over time from these applications and repeated handling. An example of British quality through and through, the Farley is finished with a hand-stitched solid brass buckle.
Note: At checkout, you’ll have your choice of size, from 32 inches to 42 inches, as well as color: black, dark brown, or navy.
Belt measurements are taken from the middle hole of the belt to where the leather meets the buckle. For best results, measure a belt that fits well and buy that size. Most people buy belts approximately 2 to 3 inches longer than their tagged waist size.
