About Halley Stevenson Waxed Twill
Over 200 years ago, waxed cotton was often used for sailcloth cloaks because of its extreme durability and resistance to the harsh weather conditions that were common to life at sea. To ensure quality and long lasting use, The British Belt Co. uses waxed canvas from Halley Stevenson, a UK-based company who has been known for its expertise in waxed fabrics since 1864.
