Hi there! The belt is a woven elastic with a small amount of stretch. The trim is Italian full-grain leather.

SusanAI wish there was a vegan leather option. I have the red version and it is my favorite belt aesthetically, but it always bothers me wearing leather. I try to minimize how much of it that I wear.

Got my belt. It's amazing! High quality and well made. Color is a little more purple than navy but not a big deal.

I'm pretty sure I got this exact belt on sale at H&M for $7. Not sure why it was so much cheaper than these are here.

You're right, it's a different belt, but still, it looks like the woven cord part is exactly the same, though the tiny leather portion isn't Italian leather. Not sure that it is a big deal though since the leather is just around the buckle and at the end... The elastic in the cord will surely wear out long before the leather does.

I just received mine yesterday. It is either my new favorite belt or tied for my favorite. Thinking I should have ordered one size larger just in case but still is good.
