Jason Brous Reinvents the Carabiner
Though it was originally designed by Chris Mioduszewski of Fortius Arms, Brous Blades has overhauled this carabiner with new materials and a vicious new look to integrate it with the Brous family. Made with a combination of carbon fiber and D2 steel, it can accommodate up to 14 keys—but screws and hardware are included to custom fit the system to as many as you need. Based on a unique key-retention system, it gives you quick access to your keys with a simple rotation. Also included is a smaller version of the Brous Multi-Tool, which has a wire cutter, bottle opener, pry bar, and screw driver—among other tools. The carbon fiber slab measures an eighth-of-an-inch thick for stability, yet the carabiner itself only weighs 2 ounces.
