Designed by custom knifemaker Dustin Turpin, the Strife is equally lightweight and sturdy. While the handle measures a hardy 5.5 inches long and more than 1 inch wide, it’s made of 3D milled carbon fiber and features a Linerlock, plus skeletonized titanium liners, to cut down on weight. At 3.5 inches long, the D2 blade is solid too. It’s got a black coat and a compound grind, and with a small cutout on the spine—which makes a nice thumb slot when using a forward grip—it’s also lightweight.
Note: At check-out, you will have your choice between Satin, Stonewash (+$10), Blackout (+$20), and Acid Stonewash (+$30). Each option is available in limited quantities only.
The Strife also includes jimping on the back of the blade, a lanyard hole and deep-carry pocket clip—both of which can be reversed for right- or left-handed use—and a forward finger choil that aids in heavy cutting tasks. And because this is a Brous, the Strife has been fitted with the company’s proprietary bearing system.
After spending his early life learning the ins and outs of CNC machining from his father, Jason Brous began a career crafting high-performance knife designs. Inspired by bio-mechanical art (where robotics and ergonomic features are paired with the organic shape and qualities of nature), Brous Blades knives are built on a process of continual improvement and the determination to improve and produce nothing but the highest quality knives.
