In Bruges

In the 15th century, an age of splendor and culture has begun in the Belgian Hanseatic city of Bruges. In the Bruges Board Game designed by Stefan Feld, players will thrive as wealthy merchants who must defend their prosperity against each other, and the events that seek to change their fortunes. Bruges was nominated for the 2013 Kennerspiel des Jahres.

Gameplay

Every turn, players begin by choosing a card and performing an action. Players can either take workers, take money, mitigate a threat, build a canal, build a house, or hire a character. Each action works to provide the character with prestige. The player with the most prestige at the end of the game wins. Bruges is a Euro game (if that wasn't apparent with the Title being a European city) that is quick to setup and offers many paths to victory. Each character card features a unique ability giving players a chance to try new strategies every game.
