Panta, thanks for all your help on this thread but I have yet another "What size am I" post. I am just below an 11.5 c/d on Brannock. I wear a 10.5D on Barrie Last, 11D on Grant Last, 10.5D (with snugness on my pinky toe) in AE 65 Last (Should probably wear a 10.5E) and a perfect 10UK EE on Carmina Forest Last. My guess is I would be a 10UK but perhaps a 9.5?
MikeNolaI would suggest a 10UK. When I give my sizing suggestions, I am assuming that people want the shoes to be comfortable from the get go, meaning I am erring on the side of comfort over snugness. Some people like a snug, almost tight, calf shoe so that it breaks in and conforms to the foot with wear. If that is what you want, I would size down 1.5, instead of 1, so you would be a 9.5. I used to go with the tight fit but I am now squarely in the comfort with zero tightness on day one camp.

PantaThanks! I usually buy based on the length though. How does the length compare to an Alden Barrie in 10.5?
MikeNolaI don't have an Alden Barrie 10.5 to compare with but I can tell you that I wear a 9.5 in the Barrie/Tru Balance, and a 9 UK in the Buday, 10 US for most all other shoes. I've never owned Carmina but the customers that I've had that own Carmina seem to take the same UK size in Carmina and Buday.

PantaSorry, I really meant how does the length compare to your Barrie size. Thanks I will go with the 10UK in that case. Great!
