I'm going to ask a stupid question here, as a newbie to mechanical keyboard builds. I have seen hundreds of TKL (Tenkeyless) keycap sets, however for the life of me, I cannot find any cases for them! Even the one pictured here in charcoal gray has no price or link to where you can buy it from!
The only ones I have found are super expensive ones milled out of Aluminium. As much as I would like one of those, it's not the look I am after right now. I am wanting to make a retro style computer (with C64 keycaps) in a plastic case. I have seen the BBOX60, and even that is out of stock, and also it's not TKL.
What am I missing here? Could someone be so kind as to point me to where these cases are available for purchase? Thanks guys.
I've bought a few of these case kits, and they're a lot of fun to put together and look amazing with the correct keycaps. I put SA keycaps on these, and they make for a lovely tiny retro keyboard. It's not very long-lasting, and it doesn't sound as good as solid cases. However, it's perfect for casual use and as a display for my hats!
The novelty caps, on the other hand. They appear to be attractive, however the stems on each are bent (and in opposing directions! ), which is unattractive and inconvenient. video review
