An update to the status of my bottle issue. I will not be receiving the original bottle that I originally bought because the vendor was unable to provide a replacement. Truly disappointed in the supplier's inaptitude and failure to alert us of the shortage in the original bottle. Had I known that I will not get the right bottle, I would have been glad to cancel before it shipped out.
That being said I will be getting a partial refund for this issue, which is the best that we can do in the situation. I will now go on to use the ink, but I want to share my disappointment in the vendor, NOT Massdrop.

Almost all orders have been shipped. People whose order has shipped should have received an email with tracking. The rest of the orders should be shipping between tomorrow and Friday. As soon as the complete order ships we will make sure to update the group.

I just got the ink as well, and I received it in the Jentle bottle. The product description read "This drop features the highly sought after Fujiyama Blue ink in its original Bungbox bottle design—which is most likely the last of its kind." I paid for the original bottle, not the Jentle bottle. I've sent my support ticket, but I needed to post this in the comments as well.

I want an explanation, and I want the bottle that I paid for.
EDIT: On a side note, the pen rest was well made. I like it. But still disappointed about not getting the bottle we were told.

ZALHERAZalhera, Oh that is disappointing. I got the original bottle (Bungbox version) with the pedestal base not the bottle you received. Looks like someone mixed up the orders. I hope they get this resolved for you.

ZALHERAShoot. I've yet to open my box even though it arrived before Thanksgiving. It's tall, though, so I'm assuming it's the correct bottle.

The Bungbox (Sailor Jentle ink) bottle and blue glass pen rest arrived today. So beautiful. The pen rest is heavy, smooth and simply elegant. The Fujiyama Blue ink IS the lovely topaz shown in the photos. Only regret is that I didn't buy more.

Great news group! The vendor has let us know that the group's order was picked up and is on its way to our warehouse now. Based on the tracking provided these are scheduled to come in 12/1. Our warehouse team has been forwarded tracking info and will be standing by, ready to get these packed up and turned around as soon as they come in.
Sometimes shipments get delayed en route, not to worry as we will keep the group posted throughout the process and notify you all if anything causes delay.

Thanks again for joining this drop! With your help we were able to make it successful for the community. We've just submitted the group's order with the vendor for the Bungbox Fujiyama Ink & Pen Rest Set and they are working hard to prepare it for shipment.
As soon as the group's order is ready at the vendor's location, they will send the bulk shipment to our warehouse in New Jersey where our warehouse team will break it up into individual orders and ship them directly to you! The current estimated ship date from our warehouse is 12/11.
Rest assured that we we will provide you all with updated information regarding the status of your order throughout the process. You can expect an update from us by the end of the day Pacific Time on 11/16.

There are rumors that Sailor was able to find another manufacturer for the fluted bottles and these will be available soon.
