I didn't like brown inks until I got my hands on J. Herbin Lie de Thé and pelikan edelstein smoky quartz.
Now I kinda love them. Wet, broad nibs make brown inks look awesome, particularly on cream paper.
I agree on the pink. That color would be useful for art, but as far as pink goes, the magenta of pilot yama budo is about as pink as can be tolerable. Same goes for yellow, that's going to be completely unread-able. I don't know why it sold out first.
