Exclusive Import from Japan

From Bungbox, a specialty stationery store in Tokyo, these free-flowing inks are meant to emulate the colors of a sweet potato: One is the reddish purple of the potato skin, while the other is the golden orange-yellow of the flesh inside. Both have a lovely sheen and excellent shading properties, and together pay tribute to the long history of sweet potatoes in Japan, which dates back to the Edo period (1603 – 1868). The labels are drawn using the two colors, and offer a glimpse at the ink within. This import was arranged directly with the owner of Bungbox, and is available only on Massdrop.

Note: This drop includes one bottle of Sweet Potato Purple Omaezaki and one bottle of Sweet Potato Yellow Omaezaki. Limited to 66 sets.
