Sorry if this is a lazy question, but how do I figure out which is compatible with an old Creek OBH-11 headphone amp? Thanks.

NeilCmy lazy response is you gotta open it up or find the documentation showing which op amps were used in the product. In the "installation steps" shown on this drop will list common op amps used that can be replaced with either single or dual. If it isn't on the list you need to look up the "pin outs" and match them to either the dual or single (which is harder but can be done).

Michael-QYou have an uncanny grasp for the obvious. I was hoping for a response from someone who actually knew the answer, but thanks for being unnecessarily snarky.

NeilCIt kind of is how you would have to do it. Open it up identify the stock opamp and see is it a dual or single. Then google to see what is a compatible upgrade.

rslataraI get that, and thank you. I suppose I was hoping that there were enough OBH-11 amps out there that someone would have done it already and known the answer - that’s why I introduced it as a ‘lazy question’ in the first place. Thanks again. NSC
