Hey, did anyone get (2) dual matching pair instead of (2) single matching pair? My order was mixed up and since MD only orders the exact amount, I'm assuming someone else got a wrong order was well.
I was supposed to get (2) dual matching pair but got (2) single matching pair instead.
I'd be willing to switch with whoever got theirs mixed up as well.

RMleczkoYeah, it sounds like Massdrop's ordering system changed everything's dual matching pairs to single matching pairs. It's pretty frustrating..

VWBusGuyYes very frustrating! Ive been tracking my package it arrived in Australia last week, spent a week with customs and I finally received it today, yeh the wrong order. Do I really want to go through that again? The irony is I live about 20 kms from Burson!

RMleczkoWow, that is especially frustrating being that close. I'm hoping to sell my single matched pair and use that towards getting the right ones straight from Burson. I've ordered multiple V5's from them for my Maverick Audio DAC's and they sound awesome, was hoping to hear the V6 Classic but oh well, it'll eventually happen someday..

VWBusGuyYou shouldnt have to sell your ompamps because of MDs stuff up, they need to sort this out. I reported it and they asked me for a copy of the invoice and a pic of the amps.

RMleczkoLet me know what they say. I sent them those same exact pics; the op amps (front and back), the shipping receipt, and a screen shot of the original order when it was placed. They told me sorry, nothing extra was ordered so no exchanges can be made.. but I also think I was the first one to report it so now that more people are reporting this exact same issue, hopefully something is done about it.

VWBusGuyIve contacted Burson directly, they are concerned about the issue and will contact MD. Lets see what happens.

VWBusGuyMD have refunded my money and told me I can keep the op amps. Ill go directly to Burson from now on, they have a sale on the V5 now, $48.

RMleczko Nice, sounds good. Yeah, better off just getting it straight from the source. There's definitely some good deals on this website and almost all of my transactions have turned out well over the years but sometimes it just boils down to deciding between either paying a little more and getting it faster and more reliably from someone else or paying less here and having to wait, hoping the correct item was ordered and packaged/shipped correctly.
You'll enjoy those V5's, brings the level of detail up so much so that it's almost like having a completely new piece of equipment!
