The Byer of Maine Madera stand is made for situations where you have only one hanging point for your hammock. Featuring sturdy materials and an easy-to-use design, it can support up to 250 pounds and has jointed legs for convenient assembly and storage. Simply stand the hardwood bars up and drive the metal pin into the ground, and you’ve got a second hanging point for easy hammock setup anywhere. If you’d like, you can complete the package with a Brasilia hammock, handcrafted in Brazil from recycled cotton and polyester. Comfortable for one, it works just as well at a campsite as it does in your backyard at home.
Note: At checkout, you’ll have the option to add the Brasilia hammock in green or tropical (+ $50).
Founded in 1880 by a Russian immigrant family in Bangor, Maine, Byer of Maine originally produced slippers and textile products. In 1925, the company relocated to Orono, and over the next few decades began making wood-frame folding cots and canvas products for soldiers in World War II and the Korean War. Today, inspired by travels and trade relationships, Byer of Maine offers a full line of hammocks, hanging chairs, cots, stools, and other camp furniture from around the world.
