Sennheiser PC37X randomly goes bad after disconnecting the cable ?
Greetings, Yesterday I was using my headset like normal with my macbook, just listening to music and on a call with people like usual, and the headset was perfectly fine. This pack does not appear to come with an XLR cable.
I bought a GXL2200 because the components are still through-hole, making it a good platform to practice mods on. There is very little self-noise. It does have the typical Chinese mic treble boost, but that can be just fine for some applications - e.g. it's great for recording acoustic guitar. Swap out the capsule for an RK-47 and you've got a mic with a much more natural/neutral character.
I just got the Scarlett 2i2 from the last drop so that I can record in stereo and whaddayaknow, here's a great deal on a set of mic's... hmmm....
