It's a good idea but how is it any different from a French press? It's the same exact method.

SlarkinIt is closer to an Aeropress than a french press. When you squeeze the coffee out, the grounds are left behind. Also, the very fine laser cut filter allows very fine (almost espresso grind) like the Aeropress instead of the coarse grind of a French Press.
