the video was not impressive to me, that was NOT a shot of espresso in my opinion! I know nothing about the beans used, if the water in the thermos was hot enough (I am dubious considering the rest of his technique). there was little to no crema this could be that the beans were too old, or because his tamp was uneven (not flat) or even that the water was not the right temperature. I would not get one of these! The only portable espresso makers I have been impressed with are the Mypressi Twist [no longer made(I own one)] and the flair espresso maker let's have a Massdrop on that!

ColbraYeah, I did not say I could tell anything about the quality of the shot by the color or the "flecking", but I CAN tell something by the total lack of the crema!
