I live by Portland so I'd have to wait for it to basically leave where I live, go to NJ then come back. ;-( but I'm also saving up for the kaiser k10 so I can't really just buy these puppies on a whim and I doubt they compare to the beloved kaiser I want, sigh

The K10s are pretty special, haven't been tempted to spend on any custom IEMs, and certainly not any universal IEMs, since getting them, with the exception of the Fitear 335DW. Got rid of the JH Audio Angie and Noble Savant I used to own as well. Don't think you will regret it at all, good luck with that.

If you are interested in the K10 check out Empire Ears, the Athena is amazing, I just put up my own comparative review on the Empire head fi thread. My name is Dellwolf on Head-fi also, you have to scroll down a little bit to get to it, it's on page 116 in case the link doesn't work right. http://www.head-fi.org/t/786335/empire-ears-discussion-impressions-formerly-earwerkz/1725

nice but my sights are set on the k10s. I have the money and that isn't an issue, the issue is how many headphones amps and dacs I have clogging up my desk space. I'm going to get in trouble ;-) think I can only get away with these if I list half my stuff on ebay lol, nonetheless I'll have a pair

I have the CIEM k10s. They are really that good. I received mine before the aluminum announcement. I sometimes wish I had waited for those as customs are fatiguing. Just keep in mind they are more reference oriented and not "fun".
I also got a pair of noble 5s, on eBay for the price of these campfires, for non conspicuous use. Those are great as well.
I am curious as to how Campfire does their sound engineering as their mostly talks about their enclosures.
