This stinks. The reviews in the head-fi thread are not all that useful. Yes, it's a discount from retail. However, the company sets the retail price. Who knows what these are worth? The IE800 is dipping down from $799 to around this price and it's my benchmark for an outstanding IEM.
This sits between the Orion & Lyra, which retail for $349 & $749 respectively, so the $499 MSRP for the Nova is believable.
The hd700 started off between the hd650 at $350 and the hd800 at $1300 with a price of $1000. The market has decided that it is worth closer to $400. We need to know whether the nova is a good deal at $330, not where it fits into Campfire's lineup.
IE800 is around this price? stop comparing overpriced knock-off IE800 will ya?
