Curious as to why these are so expensive this time around? Previous drops had these as low as $350, and I picked up mine here for $400. Seriously, what gives?

I think the Campfire Audio Io on Drop for $200 (the regular price of the Comets, which lack the ergonomic fit) would be a better choice and would sell through like no one's business. I will cross my fingers and wait.

Are these brand new or B-Stock/Refurbs?
Also the Lyra II are Chi-Fi by any other definition (though at this reduced price they're definitely fairly priced):
