As in most of the cases delayed, and now this colour, Coyote does not even closely resemble one pictured on massdrop, its more sandy green, what is going on ? Anyone else who have problem with Coyote color ?

SickMedsI also ordered a coyote color. I'll drop by with a photo when I'll receive the bag. Colors can be deceiving depending on the lighting conditions but yours definitely looks more foliage green than coyote :/

BourrinopatheHope you wont be disappointed, its nice bag, I like it, but the quality is questionable for 100$ backpack, and then the colour, I understand different lighting conditions apply, but as you see your self is far from sandy colour presented on massdrop pictures

SickMedsMy Legion Elite just arrived:

The color is definitely not as sandy/tan as the photos from the drop, but not that green. (I had to apply a color filter on the picture to make it look closer to what I actually see.) My Maxpedition Sitka (1000 denier) feels significantly tougher than the Cannae. I'm not convinced by the shoulder straps materials as it feels rather cheap - the mesh doesn't feel that resistant and the synthetic foam used also feels cheap. The Nalgene pocket is really tight and it puts some serious stress on the elastic bands. They may not age well. It would probably be a bad idea to use a GSI cup on the Nalgene.
I intend to use it as a 3-day hiking backpack and the well thought-out design should be efficient and comfortable enough. I just hope it won't wear too fast.
(and as a European customer living in the Indian Ocean, I had to pay 40€ taxes and suffer dumb customs delays - nothing surprising here)
Very happy with Massdrop.

BourrinopatheThanks for sharing, dont see the pic unfortunately. I like the bag, main reason why I have not returned due to screw up color, which is clear now it comes from producer who obviously lack in QC department.
No taxes for me, living in canary islands, actually i've been "lucky" and this year had not paid yet a penny for import taxes/duties

SickMedsI have the Cannae Pro Gear Legion Day Pack in coyote and it is definitely not green. Here's a close-up. The pouch on the far left and the patch top right is coyote and I think they match. The pouch closest is a sand Leatherman pouch and that's lighter than the rest.

SickMedsI have this backpack ... it is coyote brown not coyote tan . This coyote brown does have a green hue in the right light . Most pouches I have bought for this (specter , hazard 4 , eagle industries ) are quite close but are a bit more brown. Not overly different though. Desert tan , coyote tan , and sand colors are much lighter IMHO. One major con with this pack is that they put the grab handle on the main pack flap. If it is just a bit unzipped the zip wants to open all the way down . It also puts undo strain on the zipper I think. A grab handle should always be on the top between the strap attachments I believe . Especially if you wanted to hang a full weighted pack . Or I could see where someone can come from behind and pull this grab laying your main pack wide open. Overall its a very nice bag as it carries very well even while riding a bike and great for walking through narrow areas.

cast41I appreciate your feedback and I fully agree on the grab handle, feels bit weird, thought my main issue is with colour presented on the drop pictures and two different colours delivered within two drops here

cast41"they put the grab handle on the main pack flap" But that can also be an advantage because you can open the bag quickly by pulling down on the handle. Maybe if the compression straps on both sides started on the flap, those could be used as zip stoppers if need be.
