This is an "international spec" camera, which means it didn't come from a US distributor. Have to assume that means this is a gray market camera with no Canon support.
U.S. "white market" camera with same lens is $50 more at B&H camera, which allows returns and provides 1st level support.
I think that's worth 50 bucks.
